TF vol 2 Part 2 Page 7

Well if this page looks a little dated its because this is the first page to ever be completed. A lot of the first 2 chapters were done out of order. So this page was basically a prototype for everything that came before it.

And Ratchet came off a little mean but he's really just trying to not get his hopes up or Sideswipe's. He's seen enough ugly in the war to know if Sunstreaker's head isn't attached to his proper body he probably won't last long and isn't in a good state. Plus Optimus got to make a semi-funny face at him.
